Unbelievably, when I woke up yesterday it felt like I was never in debilitating backpain and all, so I set off on the day´s mission. I did laundry all day then hiked two hours to Maca to visit with Kaysi for the evening. I have to say I never get tired of the hikes. Just stopping to take a breath and watch the sunset between the canyon never gets old. I give thanks for being here everyday. An evening of yatzee and speaking English never gets old either.
Today I came into Chivay to bathe and do the usual grocery shopping. I have a TON to do within the next 7 days as I am moving from the hostal to my 2 year home. Right now all I have is a mattress, propane tank, a stove, one suitcase of clothes and toiletries, and a duffle of books, life couldn´t be more simple. I will do some more chacra work this week and touch up some painting in my room then head off to Arequipa Thursday.
The curriculum I am writing is coming along swimmingly and I have a lot of research to do involving the internet so if you want to video chat, I will be in an internet cafe all day Friday and Sunday researching and ordering myself more books.
