Morning:
For the first time since I moved to Madrigal I didn't need to get up early this morning. For the first time I have all the supplies I need to finish my work on the room and I decided I was going to treat myself and sleep in. I had been fantasizing about this day for a few weeks now; I could raise whenever the urge moved me, put on some lovely music, and prepare a delicious fruit and yogurt breakfast before I put on my sweats and did an hour long yoga session. But, today didn't work out quite like that. Instead I woke up around 8am and laid in bed awake for over an hour. Then I gave myself my daily baby wipe bath and prepared the usual oatmeal and coffee. The unsweetened oats stuck to the roof of my mouth like cement and the milk-less coffee didn't feel quite as energizing as Austin's Bennu or Clementine coffee shop's deliciousness. Quite anti-climactic. I ended up walking around in circles for a bit getting lost in my head and stopping at the mirror in the bathroom a few times. If someone had peaked in my window they definitely would have thought a crazy person had overtaken Lu's body. But the thoughts in my mind were not dark. Instead, they were wrapping up the idea of living out of this little hotel room. I am ready. I am ready to finish construction and move into my house. Today.
Evening:
The window is in. The room is done. with much pride I show you the before and after pictures:

Now, I will collect what I can in the way of furniture and move in as October comes my way.
