this weekend some volunteers and i got together in chivay to do some planning sessions. currently we are designing a leadership camp for adolescents. it embodies all kinds of activities from self esteem to creativity to managing money to being a small business owner... with the occasional sport break. It is kind of like a summer camp or weekend convention for teens with potential.

Mario and I met because the design phase of the VALE manual publication is taking Peace Corps HQ Lima FOREVER. SO, he offered to do it with his wildly awesome artistic skills.
I have to say, he has taken my sciencey-brained Roman Numeral outline for each class planner, and converted it into something almost fun to read and look at. WOOT!
We have set the publication date for April 2012, complete in English and Spanish with accompanying CDrom. I can't wait to show you all some pages from the manual. Stay tuned!
then it was all street food pollo broster, poker, monopolio, and food poisening (not me). good times!
