The garden.
Just in case you can’t tell what is happening in this photo,
yes, a wall collapsed (perhaps in the rain perhaps in an earthquake) burying
half of the garden. We lost all of the onion, garlic, spinach and most of the
quinoa.
But, I did harvest a good 12 radishes the size of plump
beets.
I am going to attempt to unearth the onions at the least
because they are heartiest. And midday Hirma will come by to help me recognize
what are weeds we don’t eat here, and what are weeds we do. Apparently, last
time I weeded I pulled weeds they use as spices in sauces. I love that woman. I don’t know what I
would do without her.
