I bought local honey when I was in chivay, and it tastes like no honey I have ever had before. The eucalyptus and pine infusion is impossible to ignore as the scent fills your nose.
These distinct smells and flavors are what will keep me longing for my home here in Peru for the rest of my life. Due to the altitude, very few other plants and trees can grow here, so the bees pollinate on pure eucalyptus and pine. How can I ever duplicate that if I live elsewhere?
