21 Julio 2011 take two

After camping, and before heading to Arequipa city, I left my camping gear with Gray in Corporaque. Stupidly, upon returning home to Madrigal, I was sleeping-bag-less. I told Roxana and she gasped and showed up in my room with her father’s pancho, her mother’s pollera (heavy traditional dress), and the one extra alpaca blanket they could spare. Needless-to-say I piled everything on. Sleeping under so much uncomfortable heaviness I still wake up about every day in the coldest part of the night and can’t find it in me to even toss and turn. But, as the Sun comes up, I can fall back asleep for a couple hours and roll out of bed about 8 with the family.
