Roxana’s birthday present from her parents and brother was a trip to Arequipa and they asked that I go with her, which works out perfectly as I have a presentation there in a couple days. We planned our day today so we could milk the cows, pick some avas, and feed the donkeys before the comvi left town at 4pm-ish. It was an exciting day together in a race against mama cow, the rain, and time.

Unfortunately, the rain rolled in over the canyon at about 2pm and it is 10pm and it hasn’t stopped yet. Rain=no cars. We will try to head for Arequipa in the morning instead.
